Lead Electrician

Site Supervision & Leadership: Lead and direct electricians and technicians, providing on-site technical support, mentorship, and work coordination to ensure timely execution. Technical Execution: Interpret electrical schematics, construction drawings, and technical manuals to guide accurate system installations. Testing & Commissioning: Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems, including HVAC electrical components. Quality Assurance & Safety: Conduct site inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, company guidelines, and local authority codes (including QCDD). Resource & Material Planning: Assist in planning manpower and material requirements based on project scope and timelines. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on project objectives and site conditions. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain precise records of work performed, materials utilized, and job site conditions.

Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Industry Focus: Direct experience in MEP and HVAC-related electrical systems is required. Licensing: Valid Wireman License or Electrical Technician License preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, interpreting technical drawings, and operating electrical tools and testing equipment. Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical codes, local authority regulations, and site safety standards.
