IT Infrastructure Director

Infrastructure Orchestration: Provide end-to-end operational and strategic leadership over all IT infrastructure, including multi-region data centers, enterprise networks, and cloud architectures.Strategic Architecture: Formulate and execute scalable infrastructure roadmaps that seamlessly align with Yota's commercial growth and digital transformation goals.Cybersecurity & Compliance: Partner with security functions to enforce absolute alignment with international data governance, local cybersecurity standards, and regional regulatory compliance.Lifecycle & Disaster Recovery: Author, simulate, and oversee comprehensive disaster recovery ($DR$) and business continuity plans ($BCP$) while managing enterprise system upgrades and complex cloud migrations.Financial Stewardship: Control annual infrastructure expenditures, capital allocation strategies, resource optimization, and strategic vendor service-level agreements ($SLAs$).Tech Stack Innovation: Drive forward-thinking initiatives in automated cloud computing, containerization, modern DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code ($IaC$).Executive Alignment: Synthesize highly technical capacity, performance, and security datasets into clear, strategic updates for the C-suite and Board of Directors.Technical Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, directly coaching, mentoring, and developing IT managers and specialized engineering leads.

Education & Enterprise Tenure Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a highly technical equivalent. Experience: Proven track record of successful, progressive leadership in a senior IT infrastructure role (e.g., Infrastructure Manager, Head of IT, or Director) within a high-growth technology company or enterprise scale environment. Technical & Domain Expertise Platform Mastery: Deep, authoritative knowledge of enterprise networking protocol structures, core systems architecture, and modern public/hybrid cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Operational Frameworks: Comprehensive understanding of ITIL frameworks, modern virtualization, data center automation tools, and predictive capacity monitoring software. Regional Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with Bahrain’s specific IT landscape, telecommunications guidelines, and national data sovereignty regulations is highly advantageous. Leadership & Executive Skillset Elite stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to challenge, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional executive business units.
