Key Responsibilities
Technical Review: Thoroughly analyze HVAC engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to identify discrepancies or value-engineering opportunities before site installation.Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between external consultants, main contractors, client representatives, and internal installation teams to resolve technical queries ($RFIs$).Project Documentation: Draft, organize, and submit comprehensive project documentation, material submittals, and weekly/monthly progress reports for management review.Scheduling & Milestones: Prepare detailed project execution schedules and continuously monitor progress on-site to ensure the project matches critical path milestones and finishes on time.Site Management: Supervise daily on-site HVAC installation activities independently, managing sub-contractors and ensuring all work complies with strict quality and safety standards.Design Updates: Utilize AutoCAD to review, update, or make minor modifications to shop drawings and as-built schematics based on real-time site constraints.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
Tenure: 2 to 3 years of solid, proven experience strictly focused on HVAC project execution and site installation.
Technical & Software Skills
HVAC Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of central HVAC systems, chilled water networks, DX systems, ducting networks, and ventilation layouts.
Software Literacy: Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing structural overlays and modifying mechanical layouts.
Blueprint Literacy: Advanced ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and detailed project specification bills.
Soft Skills
Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to manage site activities, troubleshoot installation conflicts, and direct labor forces independently without constant supervision.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to handle challenging alignments between consultants and contractors.
