Logistics Officer

Lifting Coordination: Coordinate directly with Aramco OSPAS on all Abu Safah crude lifting programs, vessel acceptance, and field maintenance scheduling. Vessel Nomination: Negotiate lifting dates and organize vessel schedules; secure Port Captain approvals and manage terminal logistics at Sitra and Ras Tanura. Stakeholder Integration: Liaise between Refinery Operations Planning, Commercial Sales & Trading, Marine Accounting, and external inspectors to minimize demurrage costs and ensure supply continuity. Financial & Compliance Oversight: Verify Letters of Credit (LCs), loading documents, and order numbers; provide documented evidence of compliance for legal and fiscal obligations. Administrative Management: Maintain slates relative systems, prepare inventory logs, and monitor quantities lifted to ensure 100% contract execution accuracy. Post-Shipment Logistics: Partner with Financial Accounting and shipping agents to meet international documentation requirements and resolve post-deal activities with cargo counter-parties.

Education: BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent technical field. Industry Experience: * Logistics Officer: Minimum 10 years of experience. Senior Logistics Officer: Minimum 15 years of experience. Specific expertise in shipping operations and petroleum documentation is mandatory. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of refining processes, oil tanker operations, marine laws, and petroleum product specifications. Operational Skills: Expert knowledge of Logistics Management, inventory control, and supply chain planning/scheduling. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills in both English and Arabic. Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to manage relationships with diverse international customers, government officials, and maritime agents.
