Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution & Documentation: Support the full lifecycle of audit engagements—from initial planning to the preparation of clear, accurate work papers that document testing results and findings.
Compliance & Control Testing: Systematically examine internal controls and policies to ensure they are both efficient and fully compliant with Bahraini regulations and group-wide standards.
Risk Identification: Assist in assessing significant business risks across diverse sectors, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing practical recommendations for mitigation.
Reporting & Follow-up: Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit to draft high-impact reports; conduct follow-up reviews to ensure that management has successfully implemented agreed-upon improvements.
Integrity & Objectivity: Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ensuring absolute confidentiality and objectivity in every audit activity.
Analytical Collaboration: Share insights with the audit team to improve collective analysis and perform specialized tasks as defined by the Group Internal Audit Manager.
Requirements
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
Professional Track: Active pursuit or possession of certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA is a significant advantage.
Audit Background: Proven experience in an internal or external audit role, preferably within a multifaceted or diversified business environment.
Standard Knowledge: A strong understanding of IIA standards and general internal audit principles.
Data Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and financial modeling is essential.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on high attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
