Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Timekeeping: Issue and collect time cards from various sites; enter daily report data into Excel to calculate accurate salaries by the 10th of every month.
Discrepancy Management: Cross-check daily reports against time cards and communicate with site-in-charges to resolve errors or missing data.
Employee Relations: Communicate salary deductions or adjustments to staff members after receiving management approval.
Accounts Payable (AP): Collect monthly statements from all suppliers, reconcile ledgers, and verify that invoices match Delivery Notes (DN), Purchase Orders (PO), and receiver signatures.
Tax & Compliance: Organize and file tax invoices separately in accordance with NBR (National Bureau for Revenue) Guidelines.
Operational Coordination: Follow up on specific invoices for site essentials (Diesel, Sand, Water) in coordination with the Mechanical Department.
Financial Admin: Prepare documents for Murabaha (Islamic finance) purchases, follow up on post-dated cheques (PDCs), and maintain a retrieval system for all cheque copies.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant (Construction or site-based industry experience is a plus).
Technical Skills: Very good knowledge of Tally ERP 9 and MS Office (specifically advanced Excel for payroll calculations).
Soft Skills: Great attention to detail, strong communication skills (written/verbal), and a high level of dependability regarding confidentiality.
Location: Must be able to reliably commute to Manama.
