Assistant Manager - Project Planning

Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Programming: Create and manage project baselines, recovery programs, and "look-ahead" schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Progress Tracking: Monitor site milestones, compare actual progress against the plan, and generate weekly/monthly dashboards and management reports.
Risk & Delay Management: Identify potential delays and perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA); develop recovery plans and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Resource Planning: Forecast manpower requirements and deployment plans to ensure the site team has enough labor to meet the schedule.
Cross-Department Coordination: Link the procurement, production, and construction teams to ensure materials arrive on time and work sequences follow safety and quality standards.
Site Engagement: Attend site meetings and conduct physical visits to verify that planning documentation matches real-world progress.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 7–10 years of professional experience specifically in planning for HVAC or MEP projects.
Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, plus strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Technical Expertise: Proven ability in baseline preparation, progress monitoring, and resource planning; experience in delay analysis is a major plus.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or AICP certifications are highly preferred.
