Senior Accountant

Sector: Accounting Al Budaiya Full-time Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounting team across different divisions. Financial Oversight: Manage the "full-cycle" accounting functions, including the implementation of internal controls and reporting standards. Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage VAT filings and ensure total compliance with local Bahraini/regional tax regulations. Divisional Reporting: Coordinate and consolidate financial reports specifically for the wholesale, retail, and real estate segments. Strategic Support: Provide management with accurate financial insights, data analysis, and decision-support tools. System Control: Maintain the integrity of the accounting software (Tally) and ensure all processes are being followed correctly.

Requirements

Experience: 5–10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years specifically in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in Real Estate and Retail accounting is essential. Technical Skills: * Advanced knowledge of Tally accounting software. Strong proficiency in VAT laws and compliance. Highly computer literate with excellent documentation and reporting skills. Personal Profile: * Age: Below 45 years. High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail. Strong leadership and results-oriented mindset.
