IT Security Specialist

Develop, maintain, and review enterprise-level IT security documentation, policies, and procedures. Increase company-wide awareness by communicating and educating staff on general IT security matters. Execute detailed risk and control assessments of IT assets, and recommend/implement suitable controls. Perform daily security log reviews and report anomalies, following up and escalating when necessary. Conduct technical vulnerability assessments (ICT & ERP infrastructure) and provide actionable recommendations. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper and timely security management. Review, evaluate, assess, and report IT security incidents, disaster recovery plans, and ITDR reports. Ensure compliance with all quality standards, processes, procedures, and policies. Provide regular and detailed progress reports to management. Foster a strong safety and security culture across the organization. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in ICT or a relevant field. 3 – 5 years of experience in IT security or a combination of relevant education and experience. Solid understanding of information security principles, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity best practices. Experience with security tools, vulnerability assessments, and security incident response. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
