Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Provide tailored experiences through active listening, product demonstrations, and expert brand knowledge. Sales & Service: Efficiently handle till transactions (cash/credit), educate customers on brand values, and maintain awareness of the shop floor to assist customers quickly. Shop Operations: Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain strict cleanliness standards using checklists, and ensure products are stocked and rotated for freshness. Visual Merchandising: Create inviting displays according to company guidelines and ensure fresh testers are always available. Team Contribution: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and support colleagues to maintain a positive, forward-thinking work environment. Brand Ambassadorship: Follow the dress code (clean apron/fresh appearance) and embody Lush's ethical values and policies.

Requirements

Availability: Must be able to work flexible contracted hours, including peak retail times (weekends, evenings, and holidays) and attend stock takes or staff meetings. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, open body language, and the ability to remain adaptable to varying customer traffic patterns. Attitude: A positive, "can-do" mindset with a willingness to seek feedback and grow through coaching and one-on-one reviews. Technical Skills: Basic math and literacy for till operation and the ability to follow detailed operational checklists and merchandising plans. Ownership: Ability to take direction from management while eventually taking ownership of store tasks once trained.
