Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management: Record daily financial entries and manage the lifecycle of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Ledger Maintenance: Keep Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data precise and up to date.
Reconciliation: Perform regular checks of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure balance.
Reporting Support: Assist the finance team with month-end closing, budget preparation, and financial forecasting.
Compliance & Audit: Help prepare for audits by organizing documentation and ensuring tax compliance
Communication: Act as the point of contact for internal departments, vendors, and clients regarding billing issues or overdue accounts.
Admin Support: Manage general office tasks for the finance team, including filing and professional correspondence.
Requirements
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred (though an Associate degree/Certification may be accepted).
Work Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred (and required for those applying under the national preference).
Technical Proficiency: Must be highly skilled in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (QuickBooks or ERP systems).
Attention to Detail: A high level of numerical accuracy is essential.
Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and hit deadlines.
